A: Size.-Size is the first index for measuring quality. Length and width for sheetpaper, while width only for roll paper. Using mm in unit. Size deviation is allowed no more than ± 3mm. Besides, size-writing is very important. Papers have lines coming out the the paper machine. The line is paralled with  later dimension figure. For example, 787*1092 means the line is paralled with the size 1092, and 700*940 the line is paralled with 940.-B: Quantification.
Quantification means measuring the weight per㎡ paper,using g/㎡ in unit. Quantification deviation is allowed between + 3% and - 5% for single, duplex, composite grey paper. Such as, 600g means that the quantity between 570g and 618g is qualified. Otherwise, it’s disqualified.-C: Thickness.
Thickness refers to the paper depth while the surfaces are under press on both sides by a certain pressure( usually, the pressure is ±0.1kg ), using mm or μm in  thickness of single, duplex, composite grey paper is 0.155mm ~ 0.16mm per 100g.  For instance, 0.93mm ~ 0.96mm is the right thickness for 600g paper
D: Water percentage
It means the fiber moisture in board paper, using % in unit. According to the chinese GB standard (shorted for Guobiao), 250g~750g single(double) grey chipboard have moisture 7%~9%. 8%~14% moisture for composite double grey paper and composite black on white chipboard. 8%~12% moisture for composite grey paper and composite black on white chipboard.
E: Skewness
Skewness,called squareness, is defined as the maximum diagonal deviation for chipboard, generally indicated by mm. To meet the standards, skewness can not exceed 3mm.
F:Binding force between layers.
Binding force between layers is the combination strength between wet fibers after being destroyed by external force. J/㎡ in unit. Generally grey paper binding force between layers should be over 120.
G: Dust knots
Normal chipboard dustknots are less than 10 pcs of diameter 3mm per㎡. 5mm dustknots are not allowed.
