硅橡膠管被普遍利用于高效能汽車.機車的改裝。

原廠管件通常是EPDM橡膠材質,一般只采用單層尼龍網布做為內部強化的材質,
安全溫度為-15℃~120℃,由于寒帶區域溫度遠低于-15℃,且引擎室經常有超
120℃的情形,在這樣的情況下,傳統的管件橡膠會急速老化、硬化,耐高壓及高低
溫的能力大減而呈現爆管的現象。

而硅橡膠管安全溫度保守估計為-50℃~250℃,加上材質特性是
 
高份子聚合材質,手工精做，內部列入3~4層的尼龍網布。不管
是耐高壓耐高溫以及使用安全等最少提升一倍，可承受壓力高
達12 kg/cm2，為原廠的220%。不會因為抗溫能力致使管道老
化或硬化,為了大幅強化管件的耐高壓耐高溫不膨脹不硬化的
能力,廠內安全測試,溫度為98℃時最大接受壓力8bar衡壓3小
時,管件擴大率小于10%,每一根管件都最少可在4bar的壓力下
正常運作。

此外硅膠管還具有耐氧，耐臭氧，耐光，耐弱酸堿等特點。優
良的電絕緣性，耐電弧性，良好的生理惰性和生理穩定性，永
久變形小。外形美觀。
