一、無煙煤濾料的功能：
無煙煤濾料是一種水處理行業過濾用濾料，是采用優質無煙煤為原料，經精選碎，粉，篩等工藝加工而成。
無煙煤濾料是普遍采用的雙層，三層快速過濾材料。無煙煤濾料是三層濾料中最為重要的一層，因為自身直接面對著污水，是過濾污水的第一層濾料，如果不能準確的掌握無煙煤濾料的厚度，就會引起不必要的損失。
二、無煙煤濾料的使用方法：
1、污水量的大小和無煙煤濾料的厚度有著最為直接的關系，一般的情況下，污水量越大濾料層的厚度要稍微增大，如果污水量小的話，要適當的降低無煙煤濾料的厚度。
2、如果是過濾罐的時候一定要根據過濾罐的大小來決定厚度，過濾罐的大小和無煙煤濾料的厚度也有著重要的關系，過濾罐內一般的厚度為70厘米，最高的是85厘米，最低的厚度是65厘米。
3、利用測量的數據來決定厚度，可以事先對污水的渾濁度進行測量，然后根據渾濁度來變化無煙煤濾料的厚度。
用于生括給水及工業給水的過濾凈化處理。使用時根據濾池的形式確定使用參數，一般雙層濾料的鋪裝厚度為280—420mm；正常濾速10—14m/h，強制濾速14—1 8m/h；三層濾料鋪裝厚度450mm，正常濾速18—20m/h，強制濾速20～25m/h。濾池反洗采用水沖洗、水汽沖洗或輔以表面沖洗。
常用于各種介質過濾器，碳鋼介質過濾器，三層快速過濾系統濾池。
三、無煙煤濾料常用規格：
0.5－0.8mm，0.8－1.2mm，0.8－1.8mm，1－2mm，2－4mm等。
