北京文博會是中國政府發揮首都作為全國文化中心、科技創新中心和國際交往中心的獨特優勢，加快文化產業發展，推進文化強國建設，在北京搭建的國家級文化創意產業國際展示、交流與合作的平臺。主展場總面積6萬平方米，共設20個主題展區。包括：京津冀文化協同發展展區、國際語言產業展區、新聞出版與廣播電影電視展區、北京殘聯愛立方展區、京津冀運河文化展區、中外知名博物館創意工藝精品展區、臺灣文化創意展區、首都青年優秀文化創意作品展區、北京市文化創意創新創業大賽優秀企業展區、文物及博物館相關文化創意產品展區、工藝美術展區、文化創意產業集聚區展區、文化旅游景區與旅游商品展區、設計創意展區、青年文化創意與創新成果展區、民族特色文創展區、文化禮品及藝術品交易展區、體育產業展區、第三屆炫彩世界—一帶一路沿線國家特色文化展區、省區市文化創意產業展區。
